Day of Percussion is a totally free event on Saturday April 29th from 9am to 5pm at Lakeside High School in Lake Elsinore. This event has been created for all of the percussionists in our nearby school districts. This event will be filled with performances, clinics, and Q&A sessions by college ensembles and their directors.

We would love to see everyone at our MVHS Percussion Recital! Come hear the work of our amazing percussion students this Tuesday March 14th at 6pm in the band room. Student call time is at 4:30pm. Let us know if you have any questions and we look forward to seeing you there!
Veteran’s Day Parade – This is a self transport event! Call Time in front of the Murrieta Police Department is 8:00 a.m. (2 Town Square next to Town Square Park) We will meet at the flag pole in front of the PD. This is our drop off and pick up location. (Don’t be late!!!)
Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Parade route starts at Ivy, goes north bound on Washington Ave, then east on B st, ending in Town Square Park. Come on out and enjoy the parade!
We should be done around 11:00 a.m. and pick up will be at the same location as drop off, at the flag pole in front of the PD. Kids can then go home and grab something to eat.
We are then meeting back at the school (MVHS) between 12:30 and 12:45 for an afternoon rehearsal at our school in our stadium. Rehearsal will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
NO FOOTBALL GAME ON FRIDAY! WE HAVE THE NIGHT OFF!!!

Kids 3 and under: FREE
And of course…There will be several vendors there selling food!
Students should eat a nice, big lunch before departing to Mt. Carmel HS. After our performance, we will come back to the stadium for the awards ceremony. There will be lots of time for everyone to grab dinner at the stadium, so please bring money for dinner!

This is the schedule for Saturday October 15th at Poway High School.
Performance @ 7:30 p.m.
–Everyone 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. @ MVHS (Football Stadium) for morning rehearsal
–eCrew will need to help load at 11:00 a.m.
–Dismissal/Break from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch (Students can go home….shower/eat/get ready)
–Call time back @ MVHS is 1:00 p.m.
–Load buses for Poway HS @ 1:45 p.m.
–Depart for Poway HS by 2:15 p.m. (Maybe even by 2:00 p.m.)
–Arrive at Poway HS no later than 3:30 p.m.
-Unload buses on arrival and head to stadium to watch bands (Students should bring money for food as we will be eating an early dinner at the stadium before our performance.)
–Performance @ 7:30 p.m.
–Awards @ 9:00 p.m.
–Depart Poway HS between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m.
–Arrive back at MVHS around 11:30 p.m.

Here is a detailed list of information for the Vista Murrieta Field Tournament this Saturday! (10/8)
8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Practice on the Football Field @MVHS
11:00 a.m. – Students go home…rest/relax!
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Load Semi (e-crew kids and parent volunteers)
5:00 p.m. – Call time AT Vista Murrieta – THIS IS A SELF-TRANSPORT EVENT! WE WILL NOT BE RIDING BUSSES! (Please be a little early as there may be some traffic in and out of the stadium before the show.)
Students can be dropped of by the gym/pool near the main entrance of the school and walk over to the tennis/basketball courts where we will be setting up for our warm-up.
If you are planning on attending the show, you can just park near the stadium and students can walk over to tennis/basketball courts where we will be setting up for our warm-up.
7:30 p.m. – Performance Time!!!
8:45 p.m. – Awards
9:15 – 9:30 p.m. – Students released to go home. They can be picked up by our semi! (Shouldn’t be hard to find.)
Gates for the show open at 3 p.m. The show start at 5:19 p.m. (Yes, they are very precise about start times. Haha!) We go on at 7:30 p.m.! Gates are open very early for this show, depending on what kind of seating your looking for will depend on how early you want to get there. Sitting as close to the 50 yard line and up as high as possible are the best seats. There are 4 large bands at this tournament, seats may go quickly!
Tickets will be available at the ticket booth on the Home Side of the stadium. Ticket prices are $10.00 for adults, children 5-12 years old, seniors age 65 and older and active Military personnel in uniform or with ID are $7.00, and children 4 and under are free.
Programs are $5.
